A Slovak speaking Trial Capabilities Associate – Contracts & Budgets is required to join a leading global pharmaceutical business based in Cork. The role


The Contract and Budget Associate is responsible for overseeing specific clinical contract and budget negotiation activities. The primary responsibilities include providing contract and budget process guidance, conducting contract and budget negotiations, conducting contract analyses, facilitating compliance, and pursuing contracting process improvements. The Contract and Budget Associate will also be expected to balance the requirements of ensuring appropriate controls with a streamlined, customer-focused, and timely contracting process.

The Associate plays a critical role in communicating and negotiating contracts and budgets with the appropriate site, team, or affiliate personnel, including:

• Communicate on various contract and budget issues, identify relationship-building opportunities, secure site contracts and budgets, collect site feedback, and facilitate communication with various personnel. This responsibility includes assisting Trial Capabilities Associates with difficult contract and budget negotiations and significant interventions, and follow-up will be necessary to facilitate this objective
• Communicate and negotiate more complex contracts and budgets
• Work with partners to review/approve all contract and budget exceptions.

• Fully Fluent in both Slovak and English
• Bachelor’s degree (preferably from legal/health science/finance/engineering field)
• Min. 3-5 years of experience negotiating contracts and budgets
• Experience of Clinical Trials is preferred
• Strong negotiation, diplomacy, team leadership skills
• Working proficiency of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
