Our client is a start-up medical device organisation based in north Dublin. This hiring manager for this role is very highly-regarded in the industry and the successful individual can expect to learn a lot about medicla device clinical development and clinical programme management in a short space of time.

Purpose of the role: To support the execution of our client's clinical development plan by delivering first in class projects.

Job Responsibilities: This role will provide scientific and technical support to the Clinical Director.
• Provide support to the Clinical Operations team to deliver clinical trial programme which will include tracking ongoing observational studies as well as planning and execution of planned interventional trials.
• Be familiar with relevant regulations and requirements to assist in project execution including the setting up and maintenance of clinical study documentation.
• Engage with the relevant groups (CROs, sites) to keep track of trial progress/recruitment and co-ordinate dispatch and tracking of trial materials as needed.
• Support the running of internal team and external meetings as needed by the project.
• Other duties to include writing and developing technical documents in support of clinical development plan, organising key publications and performing literature searches.
• Be an integral part of the Clinical Development team

Skills and Qualifications:
• Medical or scientific education or experience from similar positions with qualification to bachelors or masters degree level.
• Previous experience in a clinical research setting (advantageous, not essential)
• Motivated and organized individual with strong scientific background with the ability to work in teams.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Technical good with PowerPoint, excel, word and reference management tools e.g. Mendeley.
• Good working knowledge of clinical research, drug safety, legal and compliance environment and willingness to continuously expand medical, scientific, market, and industry knowledge.
