A highly respected healthcare service provider are currently recruiting a number of Chief Medical Scientists to join their team in Dublin 8. They are looking to recruit in the following areas: Donor Grouping, Virology and NAT Laboratory.

Essential Criteria:
• M.Sc in Biomedical Sciences or Higher Qualification or eligibility for, or Fellow of Academy of Medical Laboratory Sciences (FAMLS) or equivalent.
• The appointee must provide proof of four years’ experience in a medical laboratory.
• Excellent people management, interpersonal, communication and influencing skills.
• Strategic leadership, collaborative networking, negotiation and conflict management and decision making competencies.

Desirable Criteria:
• Sound knowledge of good manufacturing practice, best laboratory practice and current licensing regulations and quality standards are highly desirable.
• Be able to work under pressure and create a healthy working environment.
• Have a strong vision for the future.
• Have ability to build, motivate and lead the activities of staff of all grades and background effectively.
• Proven ability to develop methods, troubleshoot, implement and provide solutions to analytical issues as they arise.
